Re: stripping basket. Does it have spikes inside to keep the line form tangling? Also are you willing to say, which beach you were at or am I REALLY pushing my luck?
Caught a nice 27 inch steelhead today on the Applegate, but looking forward to more So.Cal ocean time in April.

Tereasa: Yes there are two sets of spikes. One is a 1/4″ dowel the other heavy mono spikes. Great basket. Jim
